1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter (like Laura Scudders)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 6-oz. pack chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream sugars, butter, peanut butter, vanilla and egg on low speed until creamy and well blended.
Mix in soda and salt, then flour and oatmeal. Stir in chips.
Drop by rounded tlbs. 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on pan about one minute before removing to wire rack to finish cooling.
