3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. nuts
1 c. dates - diced
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy pan combine sugar, milk, and butter. Bring to boil and boil for 20 minutes or until a soft ball. Add nuts and dates and boil for 5 more minutes. Add vanilla and Beat until hard. Beat by hand. When hard turn on damp cloth and roll in long jelly roll. When you have it rolled move it to wax paper and cut into pieces.
