1 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup

1 c. salted Spanish peanuts, roll in a towel to remove the loose peanut skins

1 t. vanilla
1 t. butter
1 t. baking soda

Buttered cookie sheet

Directions:
Directions:
Place sugar and syrup in 4 cup glass bowl. Put a metal spoon in the bowl and microwave on high for 4 minutes.

Add peanuts and microwave for 3-5 minutes until the syrup is light brown.

Add vanilla and butter and microwave for 30 seconds more.

Add baking soda and stir vigorously to mix well. The soda will make the candy foam.Pour into the buttered cookie sheet. Spread thin or tip pan back and forth to spread out the candy.

Let cool. Break into pieces and store in air tight container.

I've never been good at making candy because I'm impatient. This recipe is great because it is fast, easy and no fail.
