Dressing: 1 1/2 cup oil (olive oil or canola), 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup vinegar (seasoned rice vinegar if desired), 2 seasoning packets from Beef Ramen noodles.

Salad: 2 bags of shredded cabbage (could use the one with shredded carrots for added color), 2 pkgs of Ramen noodles broken in small pieces, 1 bunch of green onions sliced, 1 cup sunflower seeds, 1cup slivered almonds.

Mix the dressing ahead of time and let sit. Add the dressing to the salad right before serving, so the ramen noodles stay crunchy. It works to make the salad and dressing separately the night before but put them together just before serving.
