1 cup sugar, 1cup fresh lemon juice, 1 cup orange juice, 1/2 cup orange flavor liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec, 2 bottles 750 ml red burgundy wine (cheap wine is fine), 1 lemon sliced, 1 lime sliced.

In 4 qt container, combine sugar, lemon juice, orange juice, liqueur and wine. Refrigerate several hours. Just before serving, pour into pitcher with lemon and lime slices. Serve over ice.
