Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs green beans with the ends snapped off (I like to leave them long, but you can snap into bite sized pieces)
3 slices of bacon, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 onion sliced thin
6 ozs white wine (1 small bottle)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat pot to medium high, and add bacon. When the bacon starts to brown, and onion and salt and pepper.

When the onion slices are clear, and the green beans and white wine. Cover and cook until just tender, and then remove the lid to allow the wine to evaporate.

When the wine and bacon and onions have reduced and combined to form a think sauce, and the lemon juice, leave on heat for a minute longer, and the remove form heat.

Serve hot.
