Ingredients:  
4 cups dry bread cubes (remove crusts)
4 cups scalded milk
3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs beaten
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
nutmeg or cinnamon
1 cup raisins (optional)



Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients (except bread cubes). Toss cubes with above mixture.
Bake in baking pan or casserole 350 degrees for an hour or so
Sprinkle with spices before serving.
