This pineapple casserole gains a crusty sugared top as it bakes. Serve it with pork or ham.

Ingredients:
3 cups (1-inch cubes) French bread
1 cups sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 (20-oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
