2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
3 eggs
1 c. of oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cooked prunes (cut into small pieces)

Glaze:
c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c.granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Mix liquid ingredients together. Mix liquid and dry ingredients together, then add prunes and 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 325 for 45 minutes or done.
Glaze: Melt butter, mix sugar and soda together, stir into butter add buttermilk slowly. Add vanilla last. Boil 1 minute. Punch holes in cake and pour over while cake is hot.
