2 lbs. ground beef
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/3 cup dry red wine (optional)
1 cup beef broth
1 cup sour cream (add after cooking, before serving)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat shortening in skillet and brown beef, discarding fat.
Combine all ingredients except sour cream in cooker.
Cook on low 6-8 hours.
Before serving, add sour cream to sauce and heat.
