1 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat; cubed
4 medium carrots, cut into 2 inch pieces
3 medium red potatoes, unpeeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 1/2 cups frozen pearl onions
3 cups vegetable juice
3 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
1 teaspoon beef bouillon
1/8 teaspsoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet; heat oil over medium heat. Add beef; cook 4-6 minutes or until browned.

In slow cooker, combine browned beef and all remaining ingredients; mix well.

Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours or until beef and veggies are tender.
