Chocolate Pecan Fudge Drops Recipe

1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans.
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup corn syrup
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Line baking sheet with waxed paper. Grease paper.

In saucepan, stir together sugar, brown sugar, cream, corn syrup, cocoa powder and salt. Cook over medium heat until mixture reaches 230 on candy thermometer (soft ball stage).

Remove pan from heat. Stir in butter, vanilla, and chopped nuts.

Cool for 5 minutes.

Stir mixture until it thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.

Drop by tablespoons onto prepared paper on baking sheet.

Let stand until completely cooled.
