1 c. shortening
3 c. shifted flour
tsp. Soda
1 c. Buttermilk
tsp. Salt
4 eggs
tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add flour, eggs (one at a time), and milk. Bake 350 for 1 hour 15 minutes or until golden brown.
