1 head Lettuce, washed and torn into bite-size pieces
1 C. Green Pepper, seeded and chopped
1 C. Celery, chopped
1 Onion, thinly sliced
1 large Carrot, shredded
10 oz. bag frozen Green Peas, slightly thawed
1 C. Sour Cream
2 C. Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1/2 C. shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 C. Bacon bits or crisp, crumbled bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Layer half of lettuce in a 9x13 pan or a pretty glass serving bowl. Layer green pepper, celery, onion, carrot and peas over lettuce. Top with remaining lettuce.
In a small bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise and sugar; pour evenly over salad. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bacon bits. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.
