1 beef tenderloin (5 lbs)
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 slices bacon
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Trim excess fat from meat. Place meat on rack in shallow roasting pan.

Rub with garlic; sprinkle with flour. Season with salt. Top with bacon. Insert meat thermometer into center of thickest part of meat.

Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour or until internal temperature reach 140 for rare to 170 for well done.

Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.

Meanwhile cook mushrooms in butter in skillet until tender, stirring occasionally.

Remove meat from pan; cut into 1/4 inch thick slices.

Serve topped with mushrooms.
