1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. oil
1 pkg. corn bread-prepared to make 4 c. crumbled corn bread (in big chunks)
4 c. dry or toasted white bread, cubed
1 can chicken broth
1 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg slightly beaten
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. sage or poultry seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions and celery in oil until tender. Add breads in big bowl. Mix egg and broth, salt and pepper and sage or p. seasoning together and pour over bread mix with spoon. Line shallow pan with foil and put dressing in pan but don't pack in. Bake at 325 for 40 to 45 min. or until brown.

This is Ron's mom's receipe and a favorite at holiday time in south Texas! Not too dry, a little crunchy and great with gravy!
