1 1/2 c sugar
2 c flour
1 c butter
1/2 c cocoa
4 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 t vanilla



Chocolate icing

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together flour, cocoa, and salt. Add to sugar mixture. Batter will be quite stiff. Spoon rounded teaspoonfuls onto hot waffle iron. Close lid and bake 1 to 2 minutes. Frost with chocolate icing.
