1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup cornmeal
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.

In small bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, syrup and butter; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

Pour into 9 inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes.

Serve warm.
