3 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 bottle or can (12 oz) beer, room temperature
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Additional melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Grease bottom and sides of 8 x 4 loaf pan with cooking spray.

In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in beer and 2 tablespoons butter just until moistened (batter will be lumpy). Spread in pan.

Bake 40-50 minutes. Brush top of loaf with additional butter. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove to wire rack and cool completely, about 2 hours.
