1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup salted peanuts, chopped
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in peanuts and chocolate.

Spread mixture into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until center is firm to touch. DO NOT OVER BAKE.

Cool completely. Cut into bars.
