1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 jar (16 oz) cheddar cheese sauce
1 can (19 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (8 3/4 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
2-3 teaspoons chili powder
1 package (12 oz) cornbread mix

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 In skillet, brown beef and onion over medium high heat; drain. Stir in cheese sauce, beans, corn and chili powder.

Meanwhile, prepare cornbread mix according to package directions. Do not bake.

In ungreased 2 quart baking dish, spread beef mixture. top with cornbread mixture. Bake uncovered 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden.
