3 tablespoons butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups milk
1 cup chicken broth (or water)
2 cans (6 oz) crabmeat

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 3 quart saucepan over low heat. Cook onion in butter, stirring occasionally, until tender. Stir in flour, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook; stirring constantly, until mixture is bubbly; remove from heat.

Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.

Stir in crabmeat. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cook about 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until hot.
