Ingredients:  
1 1/2 pints=2 cups of crushed strawberries
1/2 c water
1 c sugar
2-1/2 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Line a baked pie shell with sliced strawberries.
Mix 2 cups crushed berries, water, sugar and cornstarch. Stir and cook until mixture is clear and thick. Add a dab of butter and a touch of lemon juice. Cool and pour into crust. Finish cooling.

I usually add fresh cut strawberries to the cooled mixture then pour into crust.
