3-4 lbs. lean hamburger meat
1 large onion, chopped
12 oz. sliced mushrooms
1 large green pepper, chopped
2-3 cloves minced garlic
1 28-oz. can whole tomatoes, with juice
1 8-oz can tomato paste
1 28-oz. can tomato sauce
salt and pepper
2 bay leaves
dried oregano, basil, and parsley to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger meat and chopped onion over medium heat. Drain fat and discard. Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 30 minutes.

Memaw and G-daddy taught me how to make this. G-daddy never measured anything -- Memaw had it down to an exact science. Experiment as you like. It will never be exactly the same, but always GOOD!
