2 c. flour
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. lard
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the dry ingredients together, cut in the lard and add the wet ingredients. Do not over mix. Roll out on a floured board and cut out with a 3 inch biscuit cutter or a glass. Bake in a 425 oven for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown

I REMEMBER:

Sunday dinners of chicken, freshly slaughtered from our own stock. Boiled then fried to a golden brown served with mashed potato's and chicken gravy with homemade biscuits smothered with the gravy. Oh my what as dinner that was.
