1 fryer,cut up
8 c. water
1 carrot, diced
3 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/2 t. thyme
1 T. chicken base
1/2 batch of dads noodles

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the chicken in the water until it is falling off the bones. Remove the chicken from the water and debone it . discard the skin as well. Cut the meat into pieces.Taste the stock to see if you need to add the chicken base and if so add just enough to bring the flavor up. Put the meat and the balance of the ingredients back into the stock and simmer until the carrots are tender. Bring it to a boil and add the noodles.. Turn the heat down and simmer 15 more minutes or until the noodles are done.
