2 T. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 c. milk, +or-

Directions:
This is your basic rue. With this you can go white, brown or cheese. Place butter and flour in a skillet and being careful not to burn it, mix them together. into a smooth paste. Add salt, stir for 1 minute. add milk and bring to a boil. You may have to use more or less milk. This has to come to a boil to be sure the flour is cooked. Adjust the thickness with the amount of milk you use.
