1 T. butter
1 T onion, finely minced
1 c. mushrooms, chopped
1/2 c. red wine
2 T. meat drippings
2 T. flour
2 c. beef broth.

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions lightly in butter, add wine and mushroom, cook over high heat until liquid has reduced by half. Set aside. Place meat drippings in a heavy skillet. add flour and make a light brown rue. Add broth slowly, mixing well. Add mushroom mixture and cook over low heat until it thickens and is done.
