1 c. 100% Bran or All-Bran
3/4 c. milk (put with bran until soft)
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening (oleo or butter)
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg. Add Bran,
flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat well. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in hot oven (400) for 30 minutes or until done.
