1/2 cup real butter
1/2 cup crisco shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups plain flour sifted
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the first three ingredients. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt together. Combine milk and vanilla. Add to the cream mixture by alternating the flour mixture, milk mixture, and the eggs. Bake 325 for 1 hour 30 minutes.
