Ingredients:
2 sandwich bags that zips closed
1 gallon size bag that zips closed
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. milk or Half & Half
1/4 tsp. vanilla
crushed ice
rock salt

Directions:
Directions:
In one sandwich bag, put the sugar, milk, and vanilla. Put this bag in the second sandwich bag and close. (This can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.)

In gallon size bag, fill 1/4 full of crushed ice. Put the milk mixture bag in and add more crushed ice until the bag is 3/4 full. Sprinkle 2 or 3 Tbsp. rock salt in the ice. Zip closed.

Wrap the bag in a bath towel and go outside. Shake and roll the bag until frozen. This takes about 15-20 minutes. The more you keep the bag moving, the quicker it freezes. (But don't be rough or you will puncture the bags and get salt in with the ice cream.)

Take the sandwich bag of ice cream out and squeeze into a bowl. Or just wash off the bag and eat right out of it. What a cool treat you have made yourself on a hot summer day!
