1 cup water
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup light corn syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. flavoring oil
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
In large heavy pan, boil water. Remove and add sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Return to heat. Cover for about 3 minutes so steam will wash down crystals. Uncover and cook at high heat without stirring to 300 degrees. Remove candy and add few drops of coloring and flavoring oil. Pour on buttered slab or buttered plates. For suckers, pour small amount over sticks on buttered sheets.
