2 pkg. dry yeast 3/4 C sugar
1-1/2 C warm water 1 tsp baking soda
1-1/4 C buttermilk 2 tsp salt
(or vinegar in reg. milk) 5-6C flour
2 eggs
1/2 C butter or margarine softened

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve 2 tbsp of sugar in 1-1/2 C. warm water and add yeast. Cream 3/4 C sugar and 1/2 C margarine. Add 2 eggs, 1 tsp baking soda and 2 tsp salt. Beat until smooth. Add buttermilk or vinegar-soured milk and gradually add flour. When getting sticky alternate the yeast mixture and flour beating until too heavy for mixer. With a spoon beat in more flour until mixture is easy to handle. It will not be as stiff as bread dough. Turn out onto a greased and floured surface. Knead 5 minutes. Place in a greased, covered bowl and let rise 1 hour. Knead down and shape into dinner rolls or make into cinnamon rolls. (Hint: This dough is soft so I put Crisco on my hands and dip my fingers into flour so the dough is easier to handle.) Let rise in pans until almost double. Bake 12 min. at 375 degrees.
