1 box (10 oz.) Raisin Bran cereal
5 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 qt. buttermilk
1 cup oil
4 eggs beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400 for 20 min. Batter can be stored in refrigerator for 6 weeks, so you can have hot muffins in a moments notice!

I received this batter in a decorated jar along with the recipe, from a fellow teacher in the '70's. I love it because it's easy and Raisin Brand cereal has a special memory for me. Grandpa Harmon would have Raisin Brand every morning with hot water on it!
