1 package of GOYA uncooked beans
1 bay leaf (optional)
1 tsp. salt
1 package of SAZON GOYA or 1/2 tsp. GOYA Adobo
1 or 2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 carrots, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 tsp. oregano
6-8 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
In soup pot place oil, garlic, onion and pepper. Saute for 3-5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, making sure that beans have been rinsed well . Cook over medium heat covered for about 1-2 hours. Beans are done when they are soft.

This recipe is perfect for a crock pot. You can cook this recipe in a crock pot for 6 hours and it comes out delicious!
