3/4 C. butter or margarine
1 C. sugar
1 egg
2 C. flour
1/4 t. baking powder
1 1/3 C. coconut
1/2 C. walnuts
1/2 t. vanilla
12oz. jar apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter or margarine and sugar. Add egg, and vanilla. Mix well. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Add to mixture. Fold in coconut and walnuts. Press 2/3 of dough into 9" x 13" pan. Spread with preserves. Crumble remaining dough over preserves.
Bake @ 350 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
