4 cups cauliflower florets
4 cups broccoli florets
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups half and half cream
2 tlbs. grated orange peel
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 tsp. white pepper
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

Directions:
Directions:
Put vegetables in large microwave pan, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. salt, add 1/4 cup water, cover and heat on high for 7 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and set aside.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Gradually add half and half and bring to boil stirring constantly.
Cook and stir for two minutes.
Stir in orange peel, nutmeg and pepper.
Place vegies in 13x9x2 inch casserole.
Pour sauce over vegies.
Sprinlkle cheese on top.
Bake, uncovered, 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
