Ingredients:
3 lb. ground meat
3 lb. onions, chopped
2 bell peppers, chopped
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 can petite diced tomatoes
3 - 29 oz. tomato sauce
2 packs (1.25 oz each) McCormick Mild Chili Seasoning
Salt
Black Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Put onions and bellpeppers in a large pot with a little olive oil. Cook until vegetables are wilted then add the ground meat. Cook until most of the water is gone then add the can of diced tomatoes.

Cook all of this together until most of the liquid is gone once again. Add the tomato sauce, the garlic, and the chili seasoning. Cook for about 30 minutes, skimming off the grease as it come to the top.

I normally cook until the chili is the right thickness....you have to be the judge of it. When you get the chili to the thickness that you want, season it to taste with salt and black pepper. Serve on hotdogs, also makes some mean chili cheese fries. Enjoy!

Personal Notes:
You have to judge for yourself on the thickness. If its too soupy in the beginning, keep the cover off....if you find it to be just right....keep the cover on...if I find it to be to thick, I add more tomato sauce. I normally make it 5 lbs at a time and freeze the leftovers....this is a smaller version that I made for the camp...I think that this one was a little thicker in the beginning so I left the cover on. My favorite father-in-law requested that I include this recipe!
