1 T. instant coffee granules 3 C. flour 2 T. baking soda 2 T. ground ginger 1 t. cinnamon 1/2 t. allspice 1/2 t. salt pinch cloves 1 C. brown sugar 1 C. sugar 1 C. butter 1/2 C. molasses 1 t. vanilla 1 large egg
Preheat oven to 375º. Pulverize coffee into fine powder. Mix together coffee, baking soda, spices, salt and flour. Cream together butter, sugars, molasses, vanilla and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Bake 10 minutes for soft cookies, 12 minutes for cookies that "snap"
