"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous
Mix together thoroughly: 3 cups self-rising flour; 3 Tbsp. sugar and one can of warm beer. Pour into greased bread pan, smooth top. Bake at 350º for 1 hour. Sounds hollow when thumped! ! Turn onto wire rack and brush with butter. Cool completely before slicing. Then slice and wrapped in alum. foil and reheated. (Best).
