Mix together thoroughly:
3 cups self-rising flour; 3 Tbsp. sugar and one can of warm beer.
Pour into greased bread pan, smooth top.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Sounds hollow when thumped! !
Turn onto wire rack and brush with butter.
Cool completely before slicing. Then slice and wrapped in alum. foil and reheated. (Best).
