1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9 x 9 inch baking pan, and set aside.
Place, flour, brown sugar, chocolate chips, walnuts, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a medium bowl and stir until well combined.
Mix butter, egg and vanilla in large, Add dry ingredients to butter mixture and mix with spoon until well combined.
Spread batter evenly in prepared pan and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown in color.
Cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.

Somewhere between a brownie and a chocolate chip cookie. Our neighbor's in Alexandria gave this to us in a jar for Christmas. Very good.
