1 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, 1 T. butter, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 3/4 c. hot coffee, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt.

Sauce: 1 1/4 c. softened powdered sugar, 5 T. butter melted, 1 egg, 3/4 tsp. vanilla, 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. whipping cream.

Melt chocolate with butter over very low heat; cool. Combine sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat well. Blend in coffee. Sift together dry ingredients; add to sugar mixture. Divide batter evenly among eight buttered 6 oz. custard cups. Cover each tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Cool; un-mold. Serve warm with sauce.

Sauce: combine all ingredients except whipping cream; mix well. Beat cream until thickened. Fold in sugar mixture, mixing until well combined.
