1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1 c. light karo syrup
1 c. sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
9" pie shell (unbaked)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown butter in a saucepan until it is golden, being careful that it does not burn. Cool. In separate bowl, combine and stir the remaining ingredients. Pour in browned butter, mixing well. Pour into the unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes, lower temperature to 325 and bake for 40 more minutes.
