2-3 oz. pkgs ladyfingers
1-8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c.plus 1 T. sugar, divided
2 tsp. vanilla, divided
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
2 c. whipping cream
1-21 oz. can Cherry or Blueberry pie filling

Place a layer of ladyfingers on the bottom and around the sides of an ungreased 9" springform pan. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla, until smooth. Add lemon juice and lemon peel; mix well.
In a small bowl, beat whipping cream until it begins to thicken. Add remaining 1 T. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla; beat until stiff peaks form. Fold into cream cheese mixture. Spread 1/2 over crust, arrange remaining ladyfingers in a spoke pattern over top. Evenly spread with the remaining cream cheese mixture. Top with pie filling, cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove sides of pan just before serving.
