2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 lb ground pork
3 large onions chopped
1 clove garlic minced
8 slices dry white bread
1 tsp. sage
salt and pepper

1 unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
The day before preparing, dry the bread slices.

Mix together all ingredients except the bread slices.

Dip the dry bread, one at a time in a bowl with water. Squeeze out the water and add to the meat mixture. Stir and mix together. Pour into saucepan and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. May need to add small amount of water as it is cooking.. Drain excess fat.

Place meat mixture into unbaked pie crust, cover with 2nd pie crust, seal well and punch holes in crust. Bake 400 2o minutes or until browned.

Cool and serve
