2 lbs. beef stew meat
3 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion chopped
1 med onion quartered
1/4 cup flour (for thickening)
4 carrots cut 1 in. pieces
4 potatoes quartered
4 stalks celery cut in 1 in. pieces
1 pkg. frozen peas
salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet Seasoning

Directions:

In a large saucepan add oil and heat. Sprinkle the stew meat with salt and pepper, roll in flour. Place in the heated skillet, add the chopped onion. Cook and stir until lightly brown.

Add boiling water to cover meat. Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add more water, salt and pepper and carrots. Cook about 15 more minutes. Add potatoes, quartered onion and celery. Simmer until vegetables are tender.

Place the 1/4 cup of flour in a small bowl, gradually add water whisking continue mixture is smooth

Slowly add the flour mixture to the slowly boiling stew and vegetables. Add Kitchen Bouquet and frozen peas to the stew. Stir and simmer until thickened to a gravy consistency. If it get too thick just add water.
