3/4 c margarine
1 c sugar
1 egg
2 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 1/3 c coconut
1/2 c walnuts
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 (12 oz) jar apricot preserves

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl cream margarine and sugar. Add egg, mixing well. In a separate bowl combine flour and baking powder. Gradually add to margarine mixture. Add coconut, walnuts and vanilla: mix together. Press
two-thirds of dough into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Spread with preserves. Crumble remaining dough over
preserves. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or til golden brown.
