1-2 lbs. round steak, cubed
1 stick of butter
Carrots cut in quarters
Minced garlic
Potatoes, new or cut up
Yellow onions cut up
1-2 bay leaves
Seasoning to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
Place steak in melted butter stirring until nicely browned in a Dutch oven or other deep heavy pan. Add enough water to cover meat and vegetables but do not add the vegetables until the meat has simmered until tender (about 2 hours). Add vegetables and continue simmering until tender. Thicken with flour and salt and pepper and other seasonings if desired.
