2 c flour
3 t baking powder
3/4 t salt
1/4 c shortening
3/4 c sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c milk
3/4 c nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour once before measuring. Mix and sift with baking powder and salt. Cream together the sugar and shortening. Beat eggs and add to sugar and shortening mixture. Add sifted dry ingredients and milkd alternately -- don't beat, only stir enough to blend-- Add nuts. Grease loaf pan and line with waxed paper. Turn mixture into1 loaf pan or 2 ice cube trays and bake at 350 for 1 hour or 1/2 hour for ice cube tray loaves.
