1 lb. ricotta cheese or 16 oz. sm. curd cottage cheese (can use low fat)
1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 egg
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen Spinach, thawed and drained
1 tsp.salt
2 (15.5 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
3/4 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
9 lasagne noodles
1 c. water

In large bowl mix the ricotta or cottage cheese with 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, egg, spinach, salt, oregano and pepper. In a greased 13x 9 baking dish, layer 1/2 of the sauce, 3 noodles, and 1/2 of the cheese mixture. Repeat noodles and cheese and top with the last 3 noodles and finally the remaining sauce and lastly 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese. Pour 1 cup water around the edges of the pan. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 ║for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
